Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne stated that he signed his assent to the Colombo Port City Economic Commission (Amendment) Bill yesterday (20).

This was when Parliament met today (21).

This bill was presented to Parliament on 05.12.2025 and was debated and passed in Parliament on 07 January.
