The Cabinet has approved amendments to the Inland Revenue Act No. 24 of 2017.

Accordingly, it is reported that approval has also been granted to make appropriate amendments to make it mandatory to submit the Tax Identification Number (TIN) for opening all types of bank accounts.

This proposal, submitted by the president in his capacity as the minister of finance, planning, and economic development, has been approved by the cabinet.
