The Barawa Eradication Campaign says that 68 Barawa patients have been identified in the country as of last year.
Its director Dr. Prasanga Serasinghe stated that 34 people who came to the country from India for work are among them.
Dr. Prasanga Serasinghe further stated that this disease is particularly prevalent in 7 main districts, namely Hambantota, Galle, Matara, Kalutara, Gampaha, Colombo, and Kurunegala.
