An earthquake has struck the Indonesian island of Sumatra today (3).

Foreign media reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.1.

The United States Geological Survey said that the earthquake occurred 65 kilometers southeast of Sinabang.

Foreign media reported that no casualties were reported due to the earthquake.
