Plantations and Community Infrastructure Minister Samantha Vidyaratne says that the gove ment has decided to provide an additional fertilizer subsidy to small tea estate owners.

He said that the necessary provisions for this have already been allocated from the treasury.

Minister Samantha Vidyaratne also stated that there is no shortage of fertilizer in the country and that there may be some increase in the price of fertilizer in the future.
