The Presidential Committee on Disaster Management has met for the second day today (10).
It is reported that the committee has been appointed to ensure that foreign aid provided to provide relief to the people affected by the disaster is properly coordinated and provided to the relevant groups.
The chairman of the committee is Deputy Minister of Defense Aruna Jayasekara, and the committee consists of 08 members.
He stated that he hopes to inform the public and embassies about the aid distribution program.
