The US has deported hundreds of Venezuelans, despite a court order.

Foreign media reported that more than 200 Venezuelans accused of being members of criminal gangs have been deported from the US to a prison in El Salvador.

The move was taken despite a US court order preventing the removal.

El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele said on social media that 238 members of the Venezuelan criminal gang Tren de Aragua were sent to his country yesterday (16) mo ing.

Foreign media also reported that 23 members of the MS-13 gang were among them.
