The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that all Sri Lankans in Nepal are safe.

The ministry stated that steps are being taken to evacuate 73 Sri Lankan pilgrims who went to Lumbini in Nepal from India via the land route.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated that despite a system error, it is coordinating with the Nepalese immigration authorities for this.
