The country's official reserve assets have increased



The Central Bank of Sri Lanka's official reserve assets have increased in value to US$ 6,825 million by the end of December 2025.

Accordingly, this has shown an increase of 13.1% compared to the reserve assets of US$ 6,034 million recorded at the end of November 2025.

Meanwhile, the foreign exchange reserves, which are the main component of reserve assets, have increased by 13.3% from US$ 5,944 million in November 2025 to US$ 6,734 million in December 2025.
