The Meteorological Department says that due to the influence of the easterly wave flow, a slight increase in the rainfall conditions in the island can be expected from tomorrow (16).

The department stated that several spells of rain are possible in the Northe , North-Central, Easte , Uva, and Central provinces.

The Meteorological Department further stated that showers or thundershowers are possible in other parts of the island after about 1.00 pm.
