India's 79th Independence Day is today (15).

Foreign media reported that the special state ceremony organized by the Indian government this time is scheduled to be held at the Red Fort in New Delhi with the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At this state ceremony, priority has been given to recognizing the military officers who contributed to Operation Sindoor, and several of those who contributed to that operation are also scheduled to be added to the annual military honor rolls, foreign media further stated.
