DIG Indika Hapugoda, in charge of the Road Safety and Traffic Directorate, says that strict action will be taken against drivers who violate traffic laws during the festive season.

The DIG stated that one hundred and fifty thousand breathalyzer test tube kits have been distributed to police stations across the island for operations to arrest drunk drivers.
