Due to the prevailing bad weather across the island, train services on the Puttalam railway line have been restricted to Chilaw.

The Railway Department stated that today (13), the Puttalam office train and all other trains will operate only from Colombo Fort to Chilaw.

The Railway Department further stated that these trains will commence their jou ey from Chilaw Railway Station tomorrow mo ing (14).
