Israel says it will allow two fuel trucks a day to enter the Gaza Strip under pressure from the United States.
A US State Department official says about 140,000 liters of fuel are allowed every two days.
Most of them are intended for aid distribution trucks, as well as to support the United Nations in providing water and sanitation, the official said.
The rest is for mobile phone and inte et services which were disrupted due to lack of fuel.
On Friday, Gaza's communications company said it was resuming its services after receiving fuel through UNRWA, the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees.
Foreign media reports that America has exerted considerable influence on Israel to implement this fuel agreement.
