Virat Kohli has set an IPL record in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore held yesterday (18).

He became the first Indian batsman to score 500 runs in 6 IPL seasons.

The highlight of Kohli's feat is that he surpassed the previous record held by current Delhi Capitals (DC) captain David Wa er.

Before Kohli, Wa er was the only batsman to reach the milestone of 500 runs in six different IPL seasons.

It is also special that the famous Indian batsmen Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Mahendra Singh Dhoni have not yet come close to this record.
