State Minister for Transport Lasantha Alagiyawanna says that permanent driving licenses will be issued through the one-day service instead of temporary driving licences.

The state minister mentioned that all the district offices where driving licenses are issued will be brought to the state of Werahera head office before the end of this year.

Accordingly, the minister further said that the problematic situation that has arisen in issuing driver's licenses will be resolved by next October.
