The gove ment has focused on getting people's tax registration numbers (TIN) through existing gove ment agencies.

Accordingly, Minister of State for Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that after obtaining this information from those institutions and registering them, they are expected to provide a number.

The State Minister also mentioned that this information will be obtained from institutions without legal problems.

The Minister further said that the purpose of this is to prepare an easier way to get the tax registration number online.
