The Department of Meteorology says in a statement that there may be some rains in Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central, South, North-West and Northe provinces.

The announcement also states that after 1.00 pm there will be scattered showers or thunderstorms.

Foggy conditions may prevail in the mo ing in Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southe and Uva provinces.

People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may accompany thunderstorms.
