The Department of Meteorology has issued a statement saying that except for a few rains that may occur in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts, there is mainly rainless weather in most parts of the island.

In the meantime, doctors say to drink natural liquids including water to protect yourself from dehydration that may occur due to the dry weather.
