Education Minister Susil Premajayantha announced that from next year, artificial intelligence and information technology will be taught in all schools from grades 6 to 13.

He said this at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Education yesterday.
 
The minister further mentioned that the pilot project will be implemented in twenty selected schools at the end of next month.
