A special revelation about the number of people who die in Sri Lanka every day due to various accidents
According to the Ministry of Health, between 32 and 35 people die in Sri Lanka every day due to various accidents.
Accordingly, 4 lives are lost in this country every 3 hours, said Mr. Samitha Siritunga, Chief Specialist of the Non Communicable Diseases Unit, Accident Prevention and Management Division.
He said that between 10,000 and 12,000 people die due to accidents every year.
