Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha says that 7,500 Vidyapeeta trainees will be given teacher appointments on the 16th.

That is as a solution to the existing shortage of teachers.

The minister mentioned this while answering a question raised by opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa in Parliament today (06).
