The Sri Lanka Navy says that it has ea ed nearly US$600,000 in foreign exchange in 4 months through operations to provide facilities to merchant ship security teams.

Director General Operations Rear Admiral Harsha de Silva stated that a foreign exchange of US$ 598,250 was ea ed in 4 months from October 3rd last year.

The Sri Lanka Navy has commenced operations to provide facilities to merchant ship security teams by entering into agreements with foreign private maritime security companies.
