The Ayurvedic Medicines Corporation says that it is facing a serious crisis due to the lack of medicinal plants required for the production of local Ayurvedic medicines.

Its chairman, Geethamani Karunaratne, stated that a situation has arisen where the corporation's registered suppliers are also unable to place orders.
