Former Norwegian peace envoy to Sri Lanka Erik Solheim has put an 'x' on the letter expressing his displeasure over the arrest of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

It further states that he is calling for the release of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Erik Solheim stated that he is the leader who stood up to save Sri Lanka when it reached an economic and political catastrophe in 2022 and that the allegations against him are baseless.
