The Road Development Authority says that tolls will be charged as normal on expressways again.

Deputy General Manager of the Expressway Operations, Maintenance, and Upkeep Division, R.A.D. Kahatapitiya, stated that the decision was taken after the disaster situation had subsided.

With the prevailing disaster situation, vehicles have been allowed to travel on expressways without charging tolls.
