The flood wa ing was issued by the Department of Irrigation, for the Atthanagalu Oya basin and the Kuda Ganga sub-basin of the Kalu Ganga last Monday (20). It has been extended to 09.00 pm today (25)

Water levels of the Kelani, Kalu, Ging, and Nilwala Rivers and Aththanagalu Oya are rising due to heavy rains.

The public is advised to be vigilant and prepared for potential flood conditions.
