Israel's airstrike hit a tent camp housing for displaced people in a designated safe zone in Rafah on Sunday.

According to the Gaza health ministry, more than 35 people were killed. Most of the victims were women and children.

The Rafah attack came shortly after the eight rockets fired at Tel Aviv for the first time since late January.

Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.
