The Colombo Magistrate's Court has ordered the further remand of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's security guard Neville Wanniarachchi, who was arrested and remanded by the Bribery Commission on suspicion of illegally acquiring assets and properties worth Rs. 28 million.

This is until October 31st.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanka S. Bodaragama has issued this order after considering the arguments presented by Bribery Commission officials and the suspect's lawyers.
