People’s Bank has unveiled its newly constructed four-storey Regional Head Office and Branch in Kegalle.

The new complex, located at No. 380, Colombo-Nuwara Road, Kegalle, was officially opened during a ceremonial event led by the Chairman of People’s Bank, Prof. Narada Fe ando, and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka.

The aim of constructing this mode banking complex is to enhance customer convenience and deliver mode banking services.

This state-of-the-art facility is equipped to offer customers an elevated banking experience. A key feature of the building is its Self-Banking Unit (SBU), which provides 24/7 access for deposits and withdrawals, ensuring round-the-clock financial accessibility.

The inaugural event was graced by several dignitaries, including People’s Bank Head of Sales Nalaka Wijewardene, Deputy General Manager (Channel Management) Nalin Pathiranage, Deputy General Manager (Bank Support Services) T. G. P. S. Kumarasiri, Kegalle Regional Manager J. D. R. Gnanathilaka, Assistant Regional Managers Kumari Dayananda and N. Rambodagedara, and Branch Manager Chamari Gamage. Bank staff members, gove ment officials, and customers also participated in the ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s mission to expand and mode ize its services.
