The Government Nursing Officers Association says that all nursing officers in the Northe Province are scheduled to embark on a one-day token strike tomorrow (12).

It is reported that this strike is being carried out against the damage to professional dignity and the cut in overtime allowances.

Issuing a statement, the Chairman of the Gove ment Nursing Officers Association, Saman Ratnapriya, stated that the strike is scheduled to commence at 7.00 am tomorrow in all hospitals in the Northe Province.
