An additional general manager of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board has been arrested.

This was by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

It is reported that while 02 government vehicles were being used for the use of the Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, a Toyota Prado SUV jeep was acquired on a rental basis from the contract money of the Kandy North Pathadumbara Integrated Water Supply Project implemented by the board.
