A cash van carrying nearly Rs. 75 million was hijacked in Minuwangoda on November 18, with the driver emerging as the prime suspect in the case.

The van, operated by a Cash in Transit service, was taken under suspicious circumstances, prompting an immediate police investigation.

Authorities suspect the heist was an inside job and have launched an extensive manhunt for the driver.

Police have requested public assistance in locating the suspect and recovering the stolen cash.
