A Russian plane carrying humanitarian aid has left for Sri Lanka to provide relief to the people of the country who have been affected by the adverse weather conditions that have affected the island.
It is reported that a plane carrying 35 tons of humanitarian aid left today (10).
Cyclone 'Ditwa,' the worst natural disaster to hit Sri Lanka since the 2004 tsunami, has killed 639 people and affected about 10% of the population.
