The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has announced an investigation into 15 suspected cases of fraud and corruption reported within the organization.

Chairman Kosala Wickramasinghe revealed that a special unit has received a total of 3,040 complaints, with 1,124 cases manageable on a day-to-day basis.

The 15 cases under investigation were flagged through an inte al audit, and 3 are currently undergoing formal audits.

Wickramasinghe noted that some of these cases have already received media attention, and the bureau is actively gathering further information on them.
