The National Dengue Control Unit has decided to implement a special Dengue Control Week for the North West Province from today (22).

It is scheduled to be held from today to May 28.

Commenting in this regard, Dr. Indika Weerasinghe of the National Dengue Control Unit said that there is an increase in the number of dengue cases reported from different parts of the island.

He also requested to provide assistance to the officials who come to clean the places where mosquitoes can breed.
