L. S. P. Jayaratne, who is serving as the Senior Deputy Auditor General, has been approved to be appointed as the new Auditor General.

This was at the Constitutional Council meeting held today (03).

Accordingly, it is reported that the name of L. S. P. Jayaratne has been unanimously approved by the Constitutional Council.
