A tunnel has been started to connect Denmark and Germany.

Foreign media reported that the tunnel will be built under the Baltic Sea.

Foreign media further stated that the 18-kilometer, 2-lane tunnel will also consist of 2 electric railway lines.

Foreign media reported that the tunnel has been estimated at 7.4 billion euros and that 1.3 billion has been provided by the European Commission for it.
