Eight people, including three women, have died in road accidents in several areas in the past 24 hours.

Police stated that these deaths occurred in accidents in the following areas: Thambuttegama, Madampe, Kayts, Habaraduwa, Medawachchiya, Gampaha, and Kadawatha.
