A boat carrying suspected drugs has been seized in the southe seas in a special operation conducted jointly by the Sri Lanka Navy and the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB).

It is reported that several suspects have also been arrested in this operation.

The vessel is currently being brought to shore.
