He was addressing reporters at an event held at the White House.

He said that he was not happy with India's purchase of Russian oil, intensifying Washington's efforts to cut off Russia's energy revenues, and that Modi assured him that it would stop.

However, foreign media reported that India has not yet responded to those statements.
