World leaders, including US President Donald Trump, have signed the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement after the release of Israeli hostages, Palestinian prisoners, and detainees.

Foreign media reported that a conference in Egypt witnessed the signing of the ceasefire agreement.

The US president, the Egyptian president, the Qatari emir, and the Turkish president have all signed the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Foreign media further stated that the agreement was signed after the 20 remaining hostages in the Gaza Strip were handed over to Israel.

Israel has also released 250 Palestinian prisoners and more than 1,700 detainees.
