The largest fishing vessel manufactured in Sri Lanka was launched at the Dikowita Fisheries Harbour yesterday (03).

It is reported that this 80-foot vessel, designed with mode technology and in accordance with inte ational standards, has been built for export to Somalia.

The vessel was launched under the patronage of the Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Marine Resources, Ramalingam Chandrasekar, and the Minister of Industries and Enterprise Development, Sunil Handunnetti.
