The Department of Meteorology says in an announcement that there will be little rain in the Easte , Central and Uva provinces.

It also stated that scattered rain or thundershowers will occur in Weste , Sabaragamuwa and Southe provinces and Kurunegala district after 2.00 pm.

In some places in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces, foggy conditions may prevail in the mo ing.

People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
