The Department of Meteorology has issued an announcement saying that there will be mainly rainless weather in the island.

The announcement also states that there is a possibility of frost in some places in the Nuwara Eliya district during the early mo ing hours.

Foggy conditions are expected in some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, Galle and Matara districts in the mo ing.
