The Sri Lankan Election Commission has announced the final results for the Monaragala District in the 2024 General Election. The National People’s Power (NPP) emerged as the leading party, capturing over 64% of the total votes in the district.

The NPP received 174,730 votes, securing the district win, while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) came in second with 62,014 votes (22.81%).

Based on these results, the NPP has obtained 5 seats in Monaragala District, with the SJB winning 1 seat.

• Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 11,624 votes
