The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that water supply will be suspended in several areas in the Gampaha district.

This interruption is due to emergency maintenance work at the Attanagalla Karasnagala Water Treatment Unit.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that the water supply will be suspended for a period of 19 hours from 8.00 am today (16) to 3.00 am tomorrow (17).

Accordingly, the water supply is scheduled to be suspended in the Gampaha Municipal Council area, Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area, Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha area, Weliweriya, Belummahara, Rathupaswala, Minuwangoda, Asgiriya, Udugampala, Opatha, and surrounding areas.

Water supply is also scheduled to be suspended in the Ranpokunugama Housing Scheme, Urapola, Attanagalla, Bataliya, Wathupitiwala, Nittambuwa, Veyangoda, Kalagedihena, Thihariya, Naiwala, and surrounding areas.
