The police have planned to implement a special security program for the safety of the public for the upcoming festive season.

Police Media Spokesperson Assistant Superintendent of Police F. U. Wutler stated that this security program will be implemented in stations covering all 608 police stations on the island.

He further stated that more than 10,000 police officers have been deployed for road safety, including traffic checks.
