Foreign media reported that he has joined the record books by completing 4,399 days in office as of yesterday (10).

The president has also extended his congratulations to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a letter on this special occasion.

The letter states that this milestone not only reflects Modi's long tenure but also the trust the people of the world's largest democracy have placed in his leadership.
