The proposal submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers for the revision of bus fares has been approved.

Accordingly, it is reported that the fare will increase by 12.19% with effect from midnight today (23).

Cabinet Media Spokesperson Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa stated that the minimum bus fare will be Rs. 30.
